Instructions

1. You are going to construct an APA formatted paper for the assignment.
2. Provide an APA formatted title page.
3. Develop an introduction section that includes the professional nurses’ role in identifying practice problems.
4. Select an article from the list provided to use as the primary basis for this assignment.
   • NOTE: This article and the identified practice problem will be the focus for a theoretical intervention, implementation, and evaluation process using the KTA Framework for Units 5, 6, & 7. In those units, you will apply the practice problem to your clinical setting.
5. Using the article you selected, identify and state the clinical practice problem.
6. Provide a summary that:
   • Supports the existence of the practice problem, including background evidence, incidence, and/or prevalence.
   • Explains the significance of the practice problem, including the clinical implications or cost of inaction.
   • Presents the study design (method & sample population) and data results (qualitative and/or quantitative) that support the existence and significance of the problem.
7. Locate three (3) additional journal articles that provide additional support for the same/similar practice problem.
8. Develop a summary of each article with points a, b, and c just as you did in the primary article. 
   
   • NOTE: The three (3) additional articles you locate and summarize cannot be articles that are referenced in the article you selected from the list. They should have a publication date within the last 5 to 10 years.
9. Develop a conclusion section for the paper that summarizes the content and includes your thoughts about the significance of the identified problem.  
10. Provide an APA formatted reference page and include citations for each source in the body of the assignment where appropriate. 
11. The suggested length for this submission, excluding title and reference pages, is no less than 3 pages.

The assignment requirements include that you upload a file of the full-text article for each listed reference.
