thalyya- Recruiting is an important part of human resource management. You are the owner of a manufacturing business that operates in multiple countries. A position for a global marketing manager has just opened up. Many of the other managers at your company feel like this is a good opportunity for promoting someone within the company (internal hire). But you question this approach because you aren't sure if this is the best way to go because you aren’t sure if any of the existing managers are truly qualified for this position.
So, you are leaning toward hiring someone from outside the company (external hire).
