Factoid instructions:  

If you look at a message I sent you all on Thursday 4/12, I asked you to bring a foreign currency to class on Monday, Session 4A. We will do an in-class activity with this. It could be a paper bill, a coin, or if you don’t have access to that, you could print an image of another country’s paper currency and bring it to class on 4/16. 

For the factoid that you will turn in on 4/13, I would like you to post a random fact or thought on the currency that you brought to class two days before. If you are able, please attach a digital image of your currency.

[Again, we will be posting "factoids" throughout the quarter. These are short bits of information about people, things and events to give us some collective background about these subjects, why they are important or worth studying, and how they are represented and discussed by different media and other sources. The factoid should give enough information or context to stand on its own. For instance, if you mention a book tell us what it said and why it was important.]
