1- Tell your thoughts on what should be the criteria when there are insufficient resources during a pandemic.

2- If rationing must be based on ethical criteria, how should we review it in relation to the progress of the pandemic? Cite some examples from our current Covid 19 pandemic.

Ethical criteria include four key elements:

Transparency: the measures are explained and well justified.

Health benefit: the measures are evidence based.

Efficiency: the measures should reach the greatest possible number of individuals.

Adaptability: review and modify previous measures in the light of new findings.
