Biography- John Baskerville

Description

Research and present a 300–400 word biography of one of the typographers from the timeline in this module. Please include any references. Each of you should choose a different person—first come, first served. Highlight the key information that makes him or her a memorable figure in typographic history. Mention how the person fits into his or her time.

In your post, include a list of the typefaces he or she designed along with visual examples of work. Images can be put into a multipage PDF (preferable) or posted as individual JPEGs (no more than 600 x 400 pixels at 72 dpi). Utilize your design skills to layout the pages with a grid and practice all the proper typesetting techniques you've learned from the Explorations.
