1.Consider that blood that is stagnant or blood that pools may clot. Atrial fibrillation is an electrical heart issue whereby the atria do not efficiently transfer blood to the ventricles. This may allow blood to pool in either the right or left atrium. Use your knowledge of the circulatory system to predict
a) if a clot forms in the right atrium, where may that clot become lodged? Explain.
b) if a clot forms in the left atrium, where may that clot become lodged? Explain
c) will atrial fibrillation be a particular challenge to a patient with atherosclerosis? Explain.
