best practices in ethical research from the literature

In a paper of at least 2,000 words (not including title, abstract, and reference pages), demonstrate your understanding of best practices in ethical research from the literature by constructing your own set of recommendations that would help graduate student researchers comply with APA ethical guidelines and avoid common mistakes and shortcomings of conducting research with human subjects.  Include in your recommendations ways of ensuring the safety and security of participants as well as protecting participants’ confidentiality and the confidentiality of their data.  You may write your recommendations as bullet points, as long as you elaborate on each bullet point to demonstrate your understanding of ethical principles and practices, APA ethical guidelines, and ways of protecting participants in research studies.   Finally, apply your set of recommendations to your proposed research study.  What kinds of ethical issues might you face if you were to undertake this study?  What kinds of protections might you need to put into place to ensure the confidentiality and protection of your study participants?   Support your arguments with references to at least three different scholarly articles (academic journal articles) in addition to any required course readings you reference.  Include title, abstract, and reference pages in your paper.
