Benchmarking and Quality Improvement

  students will compare and contrast the internal and external benchmarks used by healthcare organizations for any quality improvement initiative. As part of this compare and contrast exercise, students must discuss the value of benchmarking in a healthcare organization and how this process may be used to improve access to and quality of healthcare.
