Bad Essay I Need Fixed

Attached to this assignment is a really bad essay.  You have to rewrite it to make it a good essay, but you have to use the skills you learned writing poetry to make the essay better.  Really.  Read the directions on the handout as far as formatting and turning it in.  You will lose points if you do not follow the formatting rules as explained in the syllabus.  Although this assignment is going in the "Practicing Standards" category in the grade book, it's worth more points than normal.  This is due at the end of class.  I'll be with you the entire time in case you have any questions or problems.
