Assortments and Prices on the Web vs. Brick and Mortar

Pick a merchandise category such as microwave ovens, power drills, cameras, blenders, or coffee makers.  Compare a retailer’s offering in its local store versus its website store.  What are the differences in the assortments offered through the store and the internet channel?  Are the prices the same or different?  What has the retailer done to exploit the synergies between the channels?
