1.     Ludwig van Beethoven suffered from deafness, and yet he continued to compose (create) incredible new music. He began to lose his hearing in his late 20s. 

2.      Share your thoughts about what challenges he must have endured as a musician/composer.

3.     Link a key term from page 89 to one of his compositions.

4.      Lastly, search for another individual who is a musician and has also faced a hardship like deafness, blindness, or any other disability but has found success in their art. Post a link to their music and some of their inspiring story.

5.      Talk about what you like about their music, and utilize some of the terms that you have learned in our chapters so far in our textbook.

6.      Respond to other classmates’ posts and state your own opinions about the piece. Simply saying “good job” or “great post” is not sufficient.

The initial post is due Thursday (midnight, Est) and follow-up responses are due Sunday (midnight, est)
