Tasks:

Research the approaches used by the following family therapists:

• Murray Bowen (Multigenerational Family Therapy)
• Virginia Satir (Conjoint Family Therapy)
• Jay Haley (Strategic Family Therapy)

Consider and describe which elements from each approach you are interested in and would consider incorporating into your own practice. Critique and discuss which elements from each approach you find incompatible with your personal style of helping and plan not to necessarily incorporate into your own practice.

Your final deliverable will be a 3- to 5-page Microsoft Word document. Utilize a minimum of three scholarly references.
