Assignment

• Read the Introduction to the textbook. Pages 7-16. In a word document, write 5 multiple choice or fill in the blank quiz questions (and answers) from the reading content. File name: “LastnameIntro.doc”

2. Print out one excellent infographic.

Tie it to the reading. Print as large as possible in color (Tabloid). Include the credit/designer/url on the print in a way that does not obstruct the infographic. This may involve capturing image and placing into Illustrator/InDesign. Include a ‘found by’ your full name for credit on the print. We will put the print up in the lab, and accumulate a wall of inspiration.

3. P1 Project Process:

Come to class next week prepared to present your Project one creative brief and your concept development to the class:

• Write a project statement. Word .doc title: “Lastname P1 project statement.doc”. Use standard template. This document will include additional pages of  research, links to sources of information. Hotlink URLs. Start a case study in which to represent all of the above content.
• Start researching inspiration related to project 1.
  research methods of meeting similar challenges. what is out there in this arena? Hotlink URLs in your word doc.
