 For your initial post, choose either the French Revolution (a political revolution), the Enlightenment (a social and intellectual revolution), or the Industrial Revolution (an economic and technological revolution). Identify and briefly explain one long-term factor that led to the outbreak of this revolution; this must be a factor that developed over decades or even centuries. Some examples you may want to consider include the growth of nationalism, the declining role of religion in everyday life, and increasing global interconnectedness over time.
