1-Background: The project Bank Overseas is an initiative to prepare the TMS Bank to rise its operations in a global and competitive environment. The leadership of the project was designated to a global team with resources in Brazil, Canada and Germany. There are 10 people allocated and the manager is a 20-years-experienced Canadian engineer supported by a plentiful of resources in budget, infrastructure and telecommunications. 

2-Issue/Problem: The team is multicultural and split in genders. There are opened differences between some members related to sexual orientation and there is a real risk other differences rises among the project team from the cultural diversity. 

3-Main point: The project leader must track all personalities and skills of the team members and develop a team charter stating the objectives, team members responsibilities, frequency of meetings, rules and penalties, conflict resolution process.

Support point #3: To mediate and solve conflicts, the manager have to be prepared with technical knowledge and emotional tools.

1) The sexual orientation conflict must be discussed in the first meeting to avoid future conflicts. 

2) The manager have to encourage the respect among the team players and stand as a reference to guide through thunderstorms. 

3) Rules about the behavior have to be established in the first moment to support further decisions in conflicts.
