This is assignment intended to assist you with understanding assignment criteria as well as investigating topics from chapters 14 and 15. This assignment assesses the following learning objectives: Identify and describe the impact of employer risk management on employee protection and the employment relationship from perspective of the employer and as an employee advocate. Identify employment laws and their key components, which impact risk management and worker protection.

Assignment Response: provide a written response to both essays:

• Essay 1 - Define the term "security" with respect to a workplace. What actions can employers take to minimize the risk and impact of workplace violence?
• Essay 2 - Explain the various implications that workers’ compensation laws have on U.S. employees and employers.

Your response should be about 1 page per topic, in addition to the title page and reference page. Inform your response with information from the required readings (Mathis, Jackson, Valentine, & Meglich, 2014/2017) and at least one other source.
