It is said that the HITECH Act is “HIPAA on steroids.” Create a table that lists the major requirements of HIPAA in one column. Then add the requirements of the HITECH Act in a second column, making sure that similar requirements are on the same rows. Finally, create a third column that notes the differences. Include a short summary that highlights the major differences between the two acts (Ciampa & Revels, 2013, p. 17).
