Assignment 1

 Select one of the two case studies in Chapter 6. Both of them involve difficult decisions that have to be made by managers for the good of the whole, but that will adversely affect at least one employee. Write a 3-page, double-spaced paper on how you would approach the employees who will be affected by your decision. Be sure to include what you have read about LMX in your analysis. Do not use personal pronouns, i.e first-person narration. All work should be in the third person.
