#1: Completion of the OPRP Training & Submission to IRB

Having prepared the Dissertation Proposal (Chapters 1, 2, and 3) in the prior course for submission to the IRB complete the Office of Human Protections Training (OHRP) if you have not already done so.

1. Submit, per your mentor’s approval and instruction, the Dissertation Proposal along with all appropriate and required documentation to the IRB.
2. Submit your completion documentation via dropbox by the deadline identified above.

This submission will be reviewed by the IRB for its appropriateness under the University standards. You must obtain IRB approval of the Dissertation Proposal (Chapters 1, 2, and 3) no later than Week 8 of this course. Any student, who does obtain IRB approval by Week 4, must schedule and participate in an Evaluative Telephone Conference (“ETC”) with the chair and mentor to determine the viability of the student’s progress towards completion of program objectives.
