From an Economic Structuralist perspective, consider the rising income inequality since the 2020 COVID pandemic began.  Has global capitalism been a factor in the spread of COVID?  How might a Marxist describe these states of international affairs, and the differing risk for the rich and poor regarding housing, medical care, and job security ?  Critique such a perspective: Do you agree? Why or why not?
