Final submission – Phase4 Abstract (Due by WEEK 7 @ 2359)

The final submission combines the other three phases into one PowerPoint presentation consisting of your Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III to make Phase 4- the PowerPoint presentation and abstract.

Do not forget to mention the Essentials and to document limitations and implications for future research/practice.

 

Phase 4 Rubric:

 

Phase V will consist of an Abstract which will be worth 40% (9.6 points) and a PowerPoint presentation will be worth 60% (14.6 points) for a total of 24 points combined.

Abstract- 40%- 9.6 points

1.       General instructions:

Overall the document should include:

a.       Three pages in length and should include a title page, an abstract, and a reference page.

2.        Title Page: Include the title page with all necessary components required by the nursing program according to the APA format

3.        Abstract: An abstract is a brief, comprehensive summary of your topic. The abstract should be 350 words or less and should be accurate, non-evaluative, coherent, readable, and concise. The following elements of an abstract should be included:

a.      The research problem or issue you are presenting

b.      Phase 1, 2, & 3

c.       Your conclusions

d.      Implications for nursing education and the nursing profession

4.        Reference page:

a.      All of the sources used in your abstract and in phases 1,2, and 3 must be included.

b.      The list should follow APA format. Authors should be alphabetized by the last name of the author, double spaced, and have a hanging indent.

c.       The sources must be relevant to the topic, peer-reviewed and/or evidence-based, and current (within 5 years).
