Overview
In Module 1, you have the opportunity to practice your APA writing and formatting skills through composing clear and concise chapter summaries for Chapters 1–2 of your Creswell & Poth text, and Chapter 4 of your APA text.
Instructions
Please follow the Reading Summary Template to complete the summaries (making sure your summaries include the “ Personal Connections” as per the Reading Summary Rubric) based on the readings listed above.
· Be sure to utilize APA Professional standard
· This includes formatting for references and citations.
Note: Your assignment will be checked for originality via the Turnitin plagiarism tool.

Reading Summary Template
As you complete each summary, follow these steps:
Step 1: Read, highlight, and annotate the chapter.
Step 2: Write the rough draft of the summary by compiling all of your thoughts and important details from the reading.
Step 3: Walk away from your rough draft, then come back, read your summary aloud and edit.
Step 4: Compose your final draft, implementing your edits.
Step 5: Prepare summaries for submission by formatting them into 1 Word document.
Format your word document for submission as follows:
