Dr. Jennings encouraged Ms. Thayer-Miller, a member of the financial operations department, to pursue her interest in exploring how state funding and local funding revenues are obtained by the district to fund educational programs as well as “brick and mortar” projects in the school district. Ms. Thayer-Miller (this is you/your district) is excited to find out about how the school district in which she lives uses state and local funding for its programs and services and agrees to use her research on her home school district to share with her entire team at work. Dr. Jennings agrees that this presentation will be valuable to the entire department at work.

Create a 14- to 16-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation, with speaker notes and voice-over(how to directions), geared to a district financial operations team. Your presentation should outline the state finance profile and describe your selected district. 

For your presentation you should:

• Describe the members of the financial operations team in terms of organizational hierarchy.  
• Explain the role of each member as it relates to financial operations. 
• Summarize how state funding and local funding revenues are obtained by the district to fund educational programs as well as “brick and mortar” projects in the school.
