Assess FMLA and the US Courts

Write a paper analyzing the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Discuss the law from the employee and the employer perspectives. Analyze the way that this legislation impacts the way that business is done and the way the business must deal with employees and employee issues. Evaluate whether or not the reasons why these laws are still necessary. Include in your analysis current publications that support or add to your analysis and evaluation. Find three current references from research articles or publications. You can select your state or a state of your choosing.

Support your paper with a minimum of five (5) external resources In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.

Length: 5-7 pages not including title and reference pages

Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic.
