 With regard to a  paper, I am providing a few alternatives. You can choose one of them (or suggest  a permutation of one if you prefer - but let me approve that before you  start).


- Regulations and  ethics. Why do we need financial regulations? What are some of them? What is the  history? etc. (Think Enron or mortgage crisis) 


- Analyzing the  financial shape of a firm from within and without (ratios on one hand, consensus  estimates, firm guidance, and actual earnings on the other hand)


- Valuation in one  way or another. Could be capital budgeting or firm valuation or cost of capital  or all tied in together. Could involve focus on risk adjustment. (Think NPV  and/or IRR put into action)



Paper should  be 5-7 pages, no title page. Standards GCU APA reference section and citing.  Focus more on content then worrying about grammar. This is not an English class.  About 10% of grade will be on grammar spelling GCU APA guidelines, etc. I'm  looking for facts and your conclusion sewed together with what we have learned  in the course. Rubric is attached. It is due 11:59 pm the 28th of October (AZ  time) - one week from today,.I will grade within a day and have any revised  grade filed by 24 hours later.
