Article Response

Write a 2-3 page analytical response to the scholarly article attached. 

1-2 paragraph summary of the argument presented in the essay: this section should begin with a clear signal phrase, and then state the thesis of the essay. It should then fairly summarize the main parts of the writer's argument.

Your own critical response to the argument: this section should begin with a clear topic sentence that agrees with, disagrees with, or qualifies the thesis of the writer's argument, and then should explain your reasoning in 2-3 organized paragraphs. Remember a "critical response" evaluates and replies to the argument.
