For your critique, you should answer the following questions:

2. What is being investigated?

3. Are there research question(s)? If so, what are they?

4. Are there hypotheses? If so, what are they?

5. How did the researchers obtain their sample?

6. Describe the sample.

7. Does the article contain any descriptive statistics? If so, what are they?

8. Does the article contain any graphs or charts? If so, what are they?

9. Are validity, reliability, or ethics discussed in the article? 

10. What type of statistical inferential analysis did the researchers use for the study?

11. What were the outcomes or results of the study?

12. What were the P-values and what do they mean?

13. What were the researchers’ conclusions? 

14. Who funded the research and would this warrant a conflict of interest?

15. Write a one page double spaced reflection describing what you learned from completing 

this project (the act of deciphering an article from start to finish), not what you learned 

from the article itself.
