Write a three-page VISUAL ANALYSIS of the painting. A successful visual description will rely on the close examination of the construction and composition of your painting and you should employ as much as possible the vocabulary and terms specific to art history. Keep in mind that your reader is someone who has never seen this work and for whom you have to create a picture in words. Please note that this paper does not require you to do any research. However, if you do choose to use an outside source you must cite it (with footnotes and a bibliography please!).
