DENISE:
Color is extremely important to me in my daily life. Color has the ability to change people's minds, alter their actions, and elicit reactions. It can irritate or calm your eyes, increase your blood pressure, or suppress your appetite. I believe we all react the same way to color in art because certain colors are frequently used to express what the artist is feeling and attempting to express through their art, which can relate to viewers. Colors are used in art to convey meaning because they influence us in our daily lives. Colors have an impact on our moods, behaviors, and health. Warmth and coolness are the two main psychological effects of color. Warm colors such as red, yellow, and orange can elicit a variety of emotions ranging from comfort and warmth to hostility and anger. Cool colors, such as green, blue, and purple, can provoke feelings of both calm and sadness.
