Pick a Surrealist we didn't talk about in class, and one who's work strikes you as interesting or appealing. 

Pick one strong example of their Surrealist work (make sure to include an image). 

Conduct a visual analysis of this work . 

    1)Give historical context and background to the artist and the work itself. 

    2)Then, interpret and analyze the work, using the formal elements we discussed, other interpretations of the work by scholars, and your own interpretation. Include at least one scholarly source, and make sure to cite it properly. 

This assignment should be a small essay (so, at least a few paragraphs long with proper introduction and conclusion) with proper grammar, spelling, and formatting.
