Conduct a bit more research on another Romantic or Realist painter we haven't discussed in the class materials. Especially discuss the style (either Romantic or Realist) of your artist, and how the two styles are different (or similar; these styles often merged in many ways, and some artists were called both Romanticists and Realists simultaneously). Also think about the country your artist is from, and how his or her style reflects that culture. This discussion board is meant to deepen your understanding of Romanticism and Realism by facilitating a full class discussion about additional examples of each style.
