his essay will focus on the films "Easy Rider", "Pump up the Volume", Lost in Translation", "25th Hour" and the corresponding readings.  In five pages, use a scene from each  film to discuss the economic benefits and difficulties that arise from people concentrating in relatively small areas and whether or not you think less spatially concentrated location would be preferable to the dense megacities we are are beginning to see arise.  Again, use economic arguments to justify your thesis.
