you are exploring, noting potential proponents and opponents of the policy change.

Instructions

Using your previously identified stakeholders, write a 3 page paper in which you address

the following:

● Analyze the votes of the stakeholders for or against the change.

○ What were the reasons for taking their particular positions?

○ What pressures, obligations, or beliefs informed their votes?

● Describe how youmight engage and negotiate with them.

○ What specific advocacy skills would you use andwhy? Base this part

of your discussion on the NASWCode of Ethics and analyze how

ethical practice is important and can impact the outcome.

● Determine which skills youwould need to lead this process:

○ Howwould you acquire those skills?

○ What resources would you use?
