Archaeology Society Report Instructions

For this assignment you will submit a 2-3 page paper OR a visual presentation that thoroughly addresses the topic. The purpose of this assignment is to acquaint you with the field of archaeology and to assess your writing and/or speaking ability. The options provided below allow you creative flexibility to show your knowledge of the topic.

Option 1: Write a 500-750 word APA formatted essay addressing the following:

• Research your city, state, or college's archaeological society. Look for the society's newsletter, meetings, or a website.
• How does that society define archaeology and how does that definition relate to what you thought about archaeology?
• Report on the activities of that society using the materials you find.
