You should think about the questions as mini essay questions and carefully take your time drafting your response.

1. Chapter 3 describes folks who are self-taught and the importance of experimenting. Are you self-taught or have experimented/created/learned by doing in anything (ie, an instrument, cooking, an expertise, etc.)? Describe your experience?

2. Per your readings and your own experiences, why are experimenting and problem solving important? How can these skills apply to various fields of study or professions?

1. Chapter 6 explains the  Trouble with Too Much Grit, list one example from this chapter that stood out to you and explain why.

2. Identify disciplines and professions where you demonstrate Generalist "range" and competence.

3. After reading Chapter 7, now explore your "possible selves" and define two domains or areas where you need to improve and expand your "range" and generalist skill sets.

Next, create and submit a Vision Board Presentation using any of the software or application of your choice. Peer Reviews

First review the Signature Assignment: An Autobiography of a Generalist from Week 4's link. Then Draft your essay and post it to this board by Thursday.

Then give feedback to at least two peers. You can choose to use the Peer Review Form located in the Course Resources area.

Peer feedback should be provided ASAP and no later than Sunday. Since the deadline for responding to classmates is Sunday please continue to check the board throughout the week and provide feedback to classmates who've posted theirs already. Remember 2 reviews minimum is required so try to spread the love and give a mate feedback if they don't have any. 

Notes: Giving and getting feedback is important. Keep your critique professional and follow rules of discussion board etiquette (review on main board).

Be sure to also book your Writing Center Appointment ASAP - due this week and have a tutor review your work before final submission.
