Students will individually create a comic strip illustrating a clinical interaction between a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a patient with a somatic symptom disorder. The comic should include the patient’s symptoms, diagnosis, treatment plan, and psychopharmacology. Students will submit their comic to the discussion board and a short reflection on the role of psychopharmacology in managing the disorder.

  • Create a 4- to 6-frame comic strip depicting:
    • The patient's presentation and symptoms
    • The assessment and diagnostic process
    • The treatment plan, including psychopharmacology
  • Submit your comic on the discussion platform along with a 200-word reflection on the importance of psychopharmacology in treating the disorder.
  • Respond to at least three peers' comics and reflections, focusing on:
    • The clarity and effectiveness of their comic in explaining the disorder and treatment
