In our 21st century modern society, we like to think of ourselves as intelligent and rational.  We think more about watching magic with an understanding that there is an unseen slight of hand.  Yet most of us continue to believe in and use magic daily.  Whether you call it superstition, karma or luck, it all falls under anthropology's definition of magic.  What forms of magic have you learned that you use?  Why do you use it?  Why do you think it is so hard for us to stop using magic?
