3.  In order to live in a society, we need to surrender certain liberties -- ex. have to follow laws. Can this go too far? Does this not go far enough? Please reflect (you may want to refer to Hobbes or others) 

4. Pick a specific topic within the themes of race, gender, policing, or the prison system. Explore the specific topic with the perspective of two philosophers who we studied. For a guide, use 2-3 sentences to introduce the topic, 3-5 per philosopher, and 1-3 to wrap up your ideas.
