Colorado Coal Miner's Strike

a. Outline the interests of mine workers and their families. What do the mine workers and families want? Were their requests reasonable or not? Explain. 

b. Outline the interests of the Rockefeller family (the owner), and the mine officials, and the government of Colorado.  What motivated these people to resist the miner’s demands for an entire year? Explain

c. In your opinion was the strike beneficial or not beneficial for American capitalism?  Why or why not? 

d. Do you think class division and tensions generated by such division are relevant today? Can you give examples to support your position?  Do some research and reference a current event or events, discussed in the media, (be sure to state your source) or give examples from your own personal experience.
