First Resource (of 4)
Lackman, Jon. "Is It Wrong to Let Children Do Extreme Sports? (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site." The New York Times Magazine. 14, May 2015. Retrieved from: https://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/17/magazine/is-it-wrong-to-let-children-do-extreme-sports.html
This article is looking at how, though the issue of children participating in extreme sports is controversial due to safety concerns, youth are still drawn to these sports more and more over time. This will be a beneficial resource to use for my research paper because I'm setting out to make an argument that parents should not restrict their children's interests, even if they include dangerous pursuits like extreme sports. The articles evidence for an increased appetite in extreme sports for kids shows us that there is a need to address how parenting can best fit these changing interests.
