Reflect on and discuss your current level of understanding of medical terminology at this point in your educational/professional journey. What is your plan to continue to learn advanced medical terminology after this course? What advice would you give to a high school student to begin to understand medical terminology, who is just starting their journey within the health care industry? Describe why it is important to understand medical terminology. Explain why prefixes and suffixes are critical to understanding medical terms.

Explain the importance of communicating with patients in their native language and at the level of health literacy in terms of patient safety. Briefly discuss how communication styles should vary when communicating with the parents of a neonate versus a pediatric patient versus a geriatric patient. Assignment objective: Students will create a writing exercise involving the creation of a dialogue and an analysis of key components of arguments.

Length: Your submission should be at least two (2) pages in length, not including the title page and references (if used).

References: APA Style will not be required for this assignment, and no outside resources are required.

Details: Using the  Unit III Assignment Template , write a dialogue (short conversation) between two people. Keys to address:

· Make sure that each person provides the other with an argument.

· Each argument must have a conclusion and at least two premises.

· Since it is a conversation, each person should also state some extraneous material.

· After you are done writing the dialogue, fill out each part of the dialogue elements.

Your final product will need a conclusion and at least two premises, two assumptions, and two pieces of extraneous material for each speaker.

Inductive reasoning leads to the philosophical problem of induction, and conclusions you draw every day are inductive. Reflect on the possibility that these conclusions could turn out to be wrong (false). Explain the limitations of inductive reasoning and how you can improve your critical thinking by being mindful of the fact that most of the conclusions we draw each day are inductive rather than deductive. Explain the difference between strong and weak inductive reasoning. Give at least two examples to illustrate your reasoning.

Your journal entry must be at least 400 words in length. No references or citations are necessary but must be in APA Style formatting if used.

Consider the fallacies of relevance listed in Chapter 8 of our textbook. Think about a recent conversation or a recent news or magazine article you have read. Consider how you, personally, might avoid committing fallacies of relevance, and list two ways you can avoid them in the future. In your replies to students, note some polite ways to point out when someone commits a fallacy of relevance.
