All About You

 Try using empathic listening and I-messages in two real discussions. Next, write a one page summary for each discussion (two different summaries) explaining what you did and how it went. Based on our readings and discussions, what did you learn about the use of empathetic listening and I-messages in conversation?  Were you surprised by how the conversation went?  Identify another recent conversation and explain how this encounter differed from that one. Include relevant, supporting examples and appropriate textbook citations.
