Agency Synopsis

The purpose of this assignment is so that you will be able to differentiate between the healthcare policy agencies’ impact on various patient populations.

1. Identify regulatory agencies that regulate health and the health care system in the US.

2. Create a table listing at least 5 regulatory agencies.

3. Address the following in the table:

A. Column 1: Name of the Agency

B. Column 2: General description of the agency.

C. Column 3: Level of authority (regional, state, federal, etc.)

D. Column 4: Role in high-risk patient populations that your selected policy affects.

E. Citation for the information in the row (updated / published within the past 5 years).
