2. What did Du Bois do in Atlanta?  How important was his work in Atlanta towards Black consciousness?
3. What are the Pan-African Congresses?  How important are the Congresses in the work of Du Bois.
4. What was the importance of the 1945 Manchester Conference in the life and work of W.E.B. Du Bois.

2. Watch the video Look for me in the Whirlwind a biography of Marcus Garvey.

After you watch the video, write a 300 – 500 word response:

• What do you think is Marcus Garvey’s legacy?
• How did he and his organization shape the world in which you live?

3. Write a 500-word essay comparing the viewpoints of W.E.B. Du Bois and Booker T. Washington.
