Please  read this article https://www.economist.com/node/21541015  from the December 3, 2011 issue of The Economist entitled “The hopeful continent: Africa rising”.

1. Make a list of at least 20 factors that affect their opinion that Africa is indeed rising.
2. Decide for yourself: is Africa rising? Yes or no?
3. Write an introductory paragraph explaining your position on whether or not Africa is rising.
4. Write 2-3 paragraphs concentrating on specific factors in Step 2 on which you base your opinion.
5. Write a concluding paragraph summarizing your argument.
