1. You must provide  motivation for the chosen topic and clearly express your objectives in the context of investment decisions in emerging markets.

2. You must be able to  collect, present, and analyse data relevant for the issues you consider. In other words, your essay should be an  empirical work (literature survey are not permitted). The essay should also use  market data (e.g., market returns, and other indicators).

3. The permitted source of  ALL market data is  Refinitiv Eikon . Note: the number and the validity duration of allocated licenses is limited so plan your data collection phase well.

4. At least two-thirds of the essay should be devoted to your  results and their  analysis. Do not waste very limited space on general introduction and detailed presentation of theory. Remember that you aim at demonstrating point 2 above.

5. Your essay should provide evidence of  extensive reading on the topic and ability to provide a  focused and  analytical discussion of the relevant issues.

6. The essay should have a  clear,  well-organised structure. You should show an ability to  relate evidence to theory. The essay must be clearly expressed and written with correct  grammar and syntax.

7. The essay must be carefully and accurately  referenced.

This paper is resit, so extra caution is needed, the source of the data must be Refinitiv Eikon, it must be on the topic, it must be research on emerging markets. You need to be familiar with all the courseware, and you need to be familiar with all the professors' emails and excellent papers from previous years as a reference. to meet all requirements.
