Advanced Ergonomics

For this assignment, you will evaluate the video from the Unit III Assignment to identify opportunities to improve the task using the concepts presented in your Unit IV Lesson.

You are required to develop a two-page report that includes the following information: 

1. the impact of the current job design on the worker’s efficiency, safety, and morale; 
2. recommendations for improving the job design using the hierarchy of controls (must include an engineering control, administrative control, and PPE); and 
3. an explanation of how your recommendation(s) incorporate the ergonomic guidelines for a well-designed job, which were presented in the unit lesson.
   

Your completed assignment must include a minimum of two outside sources, one of which must be from the CSU Online Library, a two-page summary, and both a title and reference page. You may also include additional graphics to illustrate your design recommendations; however, they do not count towards the page length.
