You must choose a specific mental disorder ( BORDERLINE PERSONAILTY DISORDER ) and describe a hypothetical individual with this disorder.

Your paper will be graded according to the following criteria

(A grading rubric and sample vignette can be found on Blackboard.):

1) Clear and accurate presentation of the specific mental disorder, consistent with diagnostic criteria outlined for the disorder (40 points). Your description of symptoms and the individual’s quality of life must reflect basic knowledge and understanding of what is known about the disorder, as presented in your textbook and the DSM-5.

2) Effective communication of all facets of your hypothetical case (10 points).

Paper should be 2-3 pages.

Paper should be clearly organized, with use of correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.

Paper should be stapled, typewritten (Times Roman), double-spaced, size 12 font, with 1-inch margins.

Please cite any references you use in APA style.

Title page should be attached to the front of your paper and should include your name, course number and semester/year.

Please do NOT submit your paper in a folder.
