A manufacturer produces two products - chairs and desks. Each   chair sells for $ 25 and each desk sells for $ 75. In order to maximize the   weekly contribution (profit), he has collected the following information on   the cost producing each unit –                             Machining       Labour                              (hrs)                     (hrs)                  Item                     Chair                      4                             6   Desk                       7                           10   Total   available     120                       180        The maximum   allowable amount of chairs to be made is 10 and the minimum amount of desks   to be made is 5.        Let A -   amount of chairs made, B – amount of desks made,        Formulate an   LP model and use Solver to find a solution for the product mix example.
