A hospital administrator is interested in analyzing the factors that affect monthly revenues. She reviews data for 36 months and notes that it appears that the percentage of beds filled seems to be the most important factor. This seems plausible given that empty rooms do not yield revenues. Since she has only limited statistical knowledge, she has appointed a task force to assist her to determine what other variables might be important in developing a prediction model that will assist in planning for the next fiscal year. Assume that you are an important member of the team that she has appointed. Indicate at least three other variables that might be important and indicate whether each variable is a categorical or a continuous variable and how the data for each variable will be listed.
